Hello,

My neighbors muscovy just hatched some ducklings under my shed. I know the mothers are known to care for the chicks. Any Suggestions? I have all stages food for both and providing water in a shallow dish.

That's about all they need. Hopefully she keeps them near the food for a while. Muscovy hens are known to take off with ducklings in tow, and they can lose some that way. I've had whole batches not make it.

she stopped going under the shed where her nest was at night. She just wants to stay in the grass. there is no protection from predators. I put them into our chicken run last night.
