baby chick with head tilted

have a baby chick 5 days old that has her head tilted to the side. she started it today. she eats and drinks good. she is also very active. does anybody have idea what may be going on?

It sounds like a vitamin deficiency. Do you have any poultry nutri-drench? Are you providing any vitamins in the water?

no I didn't realize that I needed to do that. if I start now will straighten up

Subhanla is correct, If it is a vitamin deficiency you should see improvement within a few days.

Most times, what is in their feed will give them enough vitamins, but many factors can play into the availability of those vitamins in the food. For instance, vitamins degrade over time.
I actually just read that link (and the links included about vitamin deficiencies in chickens) right before I read your thread. It must have been meant to be.

I went to my local farm supply store today and bought vitamins to put in their water. I come home at lunch time started them on the extra vitamins.
