Baby chick with rooster?

What do I do when the baby chick hatches? do I put in a pen with mom? Was not looking to have babies but I got pecked too many times by this girl over the past few months and the rooster is a BIG boy. Thanks

mamas and babies need to be separated completely from all other adult birds - the adults will most likely kill the babies. Mom and babies will need to stay by themselves for several weeks until the babies can fend for themselves.

Hopwefully someone else will give you specific time tables.
