Baby chick with something attached to bottom

Hi! We just hatched some baby chicks for the first time and one little one has something attached to its bottom that we noticed when moving them to the brooder. It is maybe pea sized and reddish with what looks like a small cord attached to it.

I would just leave it alone. It looks like leftover from the egg and should fall off or be absorbed in a day or so. I dont hatch though so wait for more experienced opinions. I have seen it on day-olds from the store though and never messed with it

That will dry up on it's own. It's what helped the chick to absorb the yolk.
