baby chick with swollen vent

I have a rhode island red chick with a very swollen vent and some discharge, looks like she's constipated. She looks very weak and like she's an outcast. Does anyone know what might be wrong? I just want to make sure if she is sick that she doesn't infect the other chicks. Thanks

did this come on suddenly? Has she been laying. If so she could be egg bound - I think you should post this in the emergencies section then search for :Egg binding," while waiting for a response.
