Baby chick with tumor on neck

It appeared today. I don't think it's the crop because that shouldn't be on their neck and also I can see it's crop on it's front.

The crop should be on the front at the base of the neck, but it often shifts to one side. I've never seen it shifted all the way around to the back, but I have certainly seen it quite a ways to one side or the other.

Are you saying you can find the crop, and ALSO a lump on the back of the neck?

Isn't the crop on the chickens breast? This tumor is on top of it's neck

The crop is on the right side of the beast, & when it's full on a chick it sometimes extends to the side of the neck.

Here's a test of theory. Withhold food for the night, & see if the lump disappears in the morning?
