munchkin went broody and hatched some babies! these are my first ones
she sat on two of her eggs and i stuffed some of the bigger hens eggs under her and she sat on those too. none of hers hatched but she seems perfectly happy adopting these guys. they are almost as big as her now!

they are silkies mixed with RIR/Barred rock/or some kind of white hen idk

Ah, the old fashioned way. Mine have never cared whose chicks they raise. Unfortunately, some hens are better mamas than others. Hang onto this one, you've got a good one!

lol yeah she is very protective and i have to wear gloves to change the food and water. shes a good mom: )
