I have gotten orders from Mt Healthy and they did a great job of marking the chicks for me. So hopefully it will be easy for you to tell them apart. I REALLY wanted a Cochin and a couple Polish this year, and McMurray is one of the few that sexes them, so we went with them. I do think Mt Healthy has a cool selection of colors, much more than other places with lavenders, splashes & blues, and lots of color Marans and Orpingtons!

I tried, I'll post pics! I have been so busy I haven't had much time to analyze today. I did take pics of all of them I think though. I'd love input. Good luck with yours!

Yeah they do have a lot of fun colors. I like that they separate out splashes.

This might seem a little silly, but seeing you receive your order safe and sound made me much less worried and a lot more excited to get my order from Mt Healthy on Monday! Your chicks are adorable and I'm so happy for you that they arrive happy and healthy! I can't wait to see more pictures.

They're so adorable!!! I got my order from Mt. Healthy 2 weeks ago and the babies are all so healthy and active. I ordered:

1 buff orpington
1 barred rock
1 black copper maran
1 olive egger
3 blue olive eggers
3 splash laced red wyandottes

The BCM is way darker than everybody and has feathers on her feet.

Aww awesome! Do you have any pictures of them?
I got 5 of the 6 breeds you got too, haha!

It's been a few years since I have had baby chicks. They will be at the post office 6:00 a.m. ish tomorrow. I have to say I am very nervous all the same. Everything is ready for them. I hate that moment when I open the box because I have had shipments with chicks and even pullets who have passed. Wish us all luck!

Barnevelder chick. I only ordered one but one of these is an extra I believe. I've never had barnevelders but know how they look pretty well. Doesn't look anything like the others I ordered. Chick #1

Barnevelder chick #2. She's lighter overall.

Barred Rock chick. I also only ordered one BR pullet but got an extra, though someone here mentioned it's a cockerel.
Here's the girl though.

Barred Rock extra, cockerel it appears. If anyone can confirm that would be great.

Rhode Island Red, chick #1. Lighter in color and bigger than the other.

Rhode Island Red #2. Darker and a bit smaller. I banded her with green.

My Black Copper Marans. So excited about her.

My super sweet buff Orpington. She's the nicest little thing, right out of the box.

I have got to say, that may be the best breed ID new chick photo dump I’ve ever seen on here! Great job, and thank you! They tend to send one extra of a breed and sex you order, and since you ordered a few males, your extra could be a male. (My orders have been all pullets and my extras have been pullets). I’m not 100% sold on your extra being a male, I’ve had some Barred Rocks look pretty sus (lots of white, big long spot on head), but have only ever ended up w pullets.

You made my morning happy! I was grinning ear to ear scrolling through all the floof! They are so adorable! Can’t wait to see more later

If anyone thinks I miss-identified anything definitely say something. I think I'm right but not positive on some. That would be great if it's a girl! I'll keep my fingers crossed, but if not I get it. I'm sure the hatcheries hate to cull so many poor boys. I'll keep him regardless probably.

Neighbor's Chicks. I need help ID-ing the light colored chicks, I don't know some of the hybrids like the amberlink and the cross vs the buff orp.
I think this is the Columbian Rock cross? Can anyone confirm? I'd like to keep it if it is, my sister loves the Columbian pattern and I told her I'd keep it for her.
