Baby chicks and fly Larvae?

It would be very easy to overdo goodies for chicks, who are tiny and need their balanced chick feed more than anything else. Don't be in a big rush to offer other things, you'll have plenty of time to see what they like later.

I don’t do treats very often but mine have always went nuts over Farmers Helper Baby Cake.

I don't think chicks should have treats, they need to stay on there chick feed. It's to make sure they have proper growth and development. At 4 to 6 weeks would be ok with treats at a minimum.

I agree with Tonyroo. I don't start mine on treats until they get a little older. I raise organic mealworms, and that's the first treats they get. I'm very careful not to give them too many, or too often, so they still eat their feed, and are getting a good balanced diet.

Mealworms are the #1 treat for most chickens. Everything else is secondary. lol
