Baby Chicks arrive today.

Hello from New Zealand!! We are receiving our 3 day old Brown Shaver chicks today. We hope they will survive beyond our school's pet day to become part of the family. My daughter has decided to name her chicken Ruby hence our user name. Just wondering how much and how often to feed?

Help!!! Our chickens arrived 3 days late because the supplier for pet day chickens pulled out. The organiser found a new source of baby chickens straight from a hatchery. Our chickens are beautiful wee things but we are worried about their beaks. One chicken is missing the whole tip, another is missing the tip of the lower beak and the third is missing the tip of it's top beak. Is this normal? Should we be worried? Do they grow back? One of them also seems to have abnormal sticky brown poo. Is that a concern?
