I have three baby chicks, got them the same day and they all looked the same size but two different breeds. I have had them for three weeks and each one is growing at completely different levels... almost like small, medium and large. The two smaller are Wildsummers and the bigger one is a Buff. The smallest one thinks the Buff is its mom, and I am worried that may not be a good thing, as the buff is confused and a little annoyed. Has anyone experienced this? I am being overprotective...? :)

You are being overprotective.

As long as they are getting along, all is fine. Different breeds and different birds within the breeds develop at varying speeds.
