I just had a chicken pass away and I am down to two. Looking to purchase 2 chicks to add to the flock. Figure this is the least likely to introduce disease. I'm concerned that chicks could harbor avian flu. There has been a few cases in commercial operations in the area, but not any backyard flocks. Can chicks carry the flu?
