Baby chicks due to ship tomorrow

I just got tracking they aren't due until Thursday, that is 4 days in shipment, poor things

Hopefully they overestimated delivery time on tracking.

I called Cackle hatchery, they were very nice, they said all of the packages from that shipment says 8pm Thursday, she thought I would get them tomorrow. I hope so

Mine showed up this morning, thank goodness, tracking showed them leaving my city, I called the post office at 5:00am, spoke to some nice woman and she looked for them and I picked them up a half and hour later. They gave me 3 extras, all seem to be fine,

Are all your chicks still doing good? Mine shipped yesterday but no update on tracking and says they won’t be here till Saturday but I’m not freaking out because I know not to trust it from your experience. I’ll call my local po tomorrow first thing in morning and let them know I’m expecting chicks.

Mine are doing very well, none have died, all seem healthy. Good luck, I hope you have the same luck, please keep me updated

Got my call this morning as I was finishing up washing up feeder and waterer and getting brooder heated. 16 active healthy Silkies doing well so far. I had 4 serama chicks that hatched last weekend they are still smaller than the Silkies. I put them in with them hopefully they will teach them about water and food. None drank when I put beaks in warm water. One did come out and eat some crumble.
