Baby chicks, GONE!

I recently had 6 baby chicks under my hen Swiddy and they were 4 days old when I tucked them under their mum in their crate last evening. Today my uncle says that when he visited them in the morning, he only found 2 baby chicks.
No sound at night, no feathers, no injury on Swiddy or her sister chipi sitting on duck eggs beside her or their sister kaak roosting above. I found no holes, absolutely nothing. The 4 chicks, gone. Can yall please help me? It's possible my uncle is lying as I do NOT trust him but any other possibilities?

the opening is so small that i cant fit my pinky finger in there

I checked a lot of CCTV footage and seems like he was lying. He told me that he entered their coop at 7:45 and then saw chicks were missing. But as the footage shows, he entered there at 5 in the morning before anyone woke up, no evidence that he stole them but dad isn't keeping him anymore. He says that he's not trustworthy at all (which's true)
