Can I give 3 weeks old chicks bird grits kayte brand?

Hi and welcome to BYC. Assuming you are feeding your chicks proprietary chick feed there is no need for grit at such a young age.

I think 3 week old chicks should just be eating their chick starter feed. If you give them anything else as a treat they may need chick grit, but they don't need it to digest their regular starter feed.

Chick grit is only needed if they are eating something other than their chicken feed like treats. If you're giving treats like scrambled eggs, lettuce, and ECT. Then you would need to supplement chick grit on the side.

I am assuming that is the grit you use for parakeets?
I am not sure that will be big enough for chicks - if you have some, try it. I bought Chick Grit for my 4 week olds from the farm store and the pieces are bigger than that stuff. The size of the pieces is closer to the gravel you buy for fish tanks ... but don't use that stuff! Most of the fish gravel is round pebbles and treated to keep it shiny and help prevent algae growth on it.
Chicken grit is usually granite and is angular.

Chicks can start eating grit as soon as 2 days old. It won't hurt them. The cage bird grit is a suitable size for chicks.
