Baby chicks holding their wings out

Glad I found this thread, I have noticed our 8 day old chicks holding their wings out when sitting and they don't move away from the light either. I don't see them holding their beaks open panting, but it does look like they are breathing kind of heavy. Them temp was a little warm today...it was around 90. We moved the light up a little but we also just added 4 more day old chicks to the group so we are trying to keep everyone happy. I'm just hoping they are smart enough to move away from the light if they are to hot and not bake themselves to death!

I have 25 2 week old Araucana's, 17 2 week old Welsummers, and 30 1 week old Delawares in my brooder. I use 1 red 250 watt and 1 regular 250 watt bulbs hanging. I have the red bulb on during the night and day. I rarely but sometimes use both bulbs. It is hanging 2 ft or so above the shavings on one end any they run around just fine I see them "dustbathing" with there wings out but not really anything else. Chicks are great!
