Baby chicks just hatched

I thought when I got my chickens they were rhode island reds, but after asking and doing research I think I have red sex links, Hen just hatched 5 chicks 2 are yellow/white, 1 is yellow/red golden, 2 are black/with white. Is this possible? Rooster is all white/cream color and hens are red/white.

Sounds like your roo as well as your hens are red sex links! Pretty much anything is possible depending on which two breeds were used to produce your chickens.

Yes, you got Red Sex Links, not Rhode Island Red.

When you breed them together, it is very possible for black feathers to show in the offspring depending on which breeds were bred together to make the RSL in the first place.
