Baby Chicks Not Drinking??

My baby chicks were doing great, they’re 1-2 weeks old (some are 1 and some are 2). I used to see them drinking A LOT of water now, they just peck around the bottom of the waterer. I clean and refresh it several times a day, they get really excited then don’t drink. I tried taking the top off but they just walk all over it. They were drinking fine from it for days then all of a sudden they just peck the wet bedding around it. What should I do!!! They all seem very awake, energetic etc and not lethargic. I’ve dipped their beaks and they still seem to have forgot??

If they're alive, they're still drinking. Chickens seem to like dirty, messy water, so they may be splashing it out of the waterer and then sipping it off the ground.
