Baby chicks not so little anymore - photo session! :)

The one you thought was a cream leg bar, I received marked as a “Partridge Olive Egger”. She was a substitute for an Olive Egger from mypetchicken. You are correct on the Brahma and the Hamburg! The black/gold one is a golden laced Wyandotte. The brown one is a Cochin. I also have a speckled Sussex but she has a bit of a hurt leg, and did not want to take part in the photo shoot. You are really good at guessing chickens!
Thank you! I had put GLW for golden laced wyandotte because I was feeling too lazy to retype the sentence to include it lol
I LOVE your cochin! Sometimes I forget that the color partridge exists outside of plymouth rocks, but partridge cochins are stunning! I love speckled sussex as well. Hope her leg feels better!

I just realized the GLW! You are REALLY good!

This is my annoying little speckled sussex, Confetti. :love I love her, but like a said, she is ANNOYING! Haha. I'll post my other girls soon.

What does she do that is annoying? She is so cute! Love her name too.
She is always going where we don't want her. She has the most adorable cluck, but will not let you touch her. If you touch her she will squawk and give you this terrible 'NA-A Don't you be putting your big grubby hands on my beautifulness!" Ah, it's just that look that is SO ANNOYING. But I think the reall reason she doesn't want to be touched is because she is the bottom of the pecking order, so the other's will swarm her if she gets any attention.

She is a living teady bear...

This is one of my Easter eggers, Dotson, all she wants to do is snuggle... and, snuggle, and snuggle, and snuggle, and eat, and snuggle, and snuggle, and snuggle, and... yeah, you get it. She will come over and wait for you to pick her up. Once she is on your lap, she will wiggle her head under your arm. I imagine that this reminds her of being under her mother's wing or something. A reall big baby. :love

Sometimes she will jump on you shoulder, which isn't always the most pleasant. Dotson will also follow you and come when called. Confetti will come when called too, but not follow you.

That is adorable to see them tiny and then growing up! Huge smile. 😊 What are their personalities like? They are so beautiful... I would love to have them!
hmm, let's see...
Opal is really sweet, as you can see I am holding her in one of the photos. I'm hoping she will continue to be sweet as she matures. She started laying really early, 3 months! Only gotten 5 eggs in 2 months though.
Ember is still really skiddish, always has been, but is pretty sweet once you pick her up. She kind of gets bullied by our 2 older chickens, but they don't really hurt her, just establishing dominance. She almost always has her neck pulled into her body, which I think is really cute. Her tail and beard are just now coming fully in. The two of them are always together and Opal sort of protects Ember.
They are so fun to have!
