Hi there! I am at home with nothing to do, so I decided to share a story with you guys.Today, I woke up to people screaming in the house. It turns out my 1 month old chicks decided that they wanted to visit my living room. On their way, they decided to make a trail of poop. What is even worse is most of my house has carpets. The good thing is that it made my dad realize they need a chicken coop pronto. He is building it tomorrow and I am painting it. Cant wait!

Well good for you… just goes to show that the old saying of "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" still seems to work. I am excited for you and hope all goes well with the build. Have you picked out your colors yet? Painting of ones coop is always fun, as will be the moving in and setting up shop.

Best to your and yours,

RJ

Do not steam clean the dirty spots. The heat can revitalize germs hidden in the dirt. Use a treatment like Resolve to clean the carpets. Actually for whole house carpet cleaning, the best system I have found is Chem-Dry. It is treated sawdust type material which they lay down and suck up. Isn't hot and dries in one hour. We used to clean hoarder houses. In one, the occupant had a mice infestation. It was a carpeted double wide mobile home. We vacuumed the carpet and had to throw the vacuum out, it was so dirty/polluted. After we got the place cleaned out, we called Chem-Dry and explained the problem. They brought in their system with added disinfectant , urine removal solution, and odor control solution. The carpet looked new when they were done and we were able to save all of it. Dried in 1-2 hours. They are not just a cleaning service, they are a restorative service.
Best Regards,
