Baby Chicks with open wounds and maggots

I read a story about someone's chicken, a silkie I believe, that became invested with maggots. It was a long, arduous process but that bird managed to survive.

Seriously, I applied it to my rooster who had maggots entering in and out of him and I swear one application did the trick and he was about ready to die at the time. I did a second application 2-3 days later to be sure. But he recovered fully even though he'd had a hole in him. His tail never grew back real well but the wound healed! HURRY!!!
