I was just given 2 baby chicks they have been rescued. I am not sure what kind of chickens or what sex they are. Can someone please help me.

Can you post a picture? Also, depending on how young, it's unlikely anyone can sex them until they're older.

Don’t know. But I’d suggest you go and buy some chic starter food. They cannot digest seeds and grains (whatever that is in the dish) without grit.
If they have been pecking at it provide some grit.
Have you had chicks before??

Cute chicks; they look like some kind of Red to me, but I'm not sure. And I agree! ^ They definitely need some chick starter soon. You can get a 5lb? bag of chick starter from TSC for about $10, if I recall correctly.

There's no reliable way to tell if they're hens or not at that age. They'll also need heat and plenty of fresh water to be healthy. Could be some game in them, but you really can't say for sure. Other breeds have that chipmunk pattern as well. They do look like girls, but again, not knowing what they are, you can't say for certain. A pic of my spangled game chicks. One boy in there I think. 2 different breeds.
