OK I've been away from baby chicks for too long!
I haven't touched a baby chick all fall and winter, and it's been driving me crazy! When our neighbors got some new baby chicks a few weeks ago, at first I was like, "Wow! They are so small! And ADORABLE!!!!"
I had forgotten about how small they really are at first, and how cute they are in real life.
But no worries; our broody hen's eggs are hatching next week and the week after, and boy are those chicks going to get attention and loving!
Up to 7-8 months without any contact to baby chicks(except pictures of them and spending time with our older chickens)!
