baby chicks

Hello i just got my first 4 chickens 5 days ago i have them in a large wire cage built by my neighbor who has dozens of chickens.They are 4 weeks old and im doing great so far.Today i was given organic Farina and wanted to know if i can make cereal from it with water and feed it to them.

can anyone answer that for me i don't want to give them anything that will harm them.

A small amount as a treat would be OK, but it is not balanced and should be used only in small amounts.
