baby chicks

Hello,

I have been looking at baby chicks to purchase at the local feed store. They have containers of baby chicks separated into different breads. They are little but I don't know how old they are. I was looking at getting two each of three different breeds. Since the baby chicks have only been with their own breeds will they adjust to being put with the other breeds immediately? I am only getting a total of 6 chickens. thanks for your help

They should be fine mixing breeds. If they are at a store they should be only a few days old. It take 4-6 weeks for full feathers.

I've never had a problem mixing breeds. I currently have 11 different breeds of chicks together and they are doing fine. Enjoy!

I buy them that way every year. Some of these, some of those and gotta have one of them..........
