Baby duck and baby chicks???

Can I keep a day old baby Rouen duck with my day old chicks they came from the same hatchery???

Should be okay. The duck will grow alot faster than the chicks, though. Maybe too big to be with them in a few weeks.

Ok I put him in and the chicks didn't pay any attention to him but he doesn't move around much thank you for your help

I just received my chicks and ducklings about an hour ago. We ordered 20 straight run nankins and 2 male mallards, but also received what looks like 6 male Black Sex Links used for warmth during shipping. One of the ducklings is chasing and pecking at his brooder mates a little too much. Going to have to separate him.

My chicks peck at the duck a little bit and he pecks back then the chicks leave him alone for awhile it's like they are playing tag lol
