Hi,

There's a duck outside our home that just had babies (13 total aprox). Apparently a baby duck from another mother joined their group, we think is not hers cause of the difference in sizes, color and specially cause the mother pecks the baby constantly (hard).
Not sure what to do, should we grab the baby and "raise" it? Should we leave nature take it's course?

Thanks

Are you talking Muscovy. If so you can raise it and not be in trouble since it's not a wild duckling. Just know you'll be responsible for it's care until it decides to go out on it's own. Which it may or my not but if there are other Muscovy around it may join the flock once old enough.
