Baby duck leg twisting?

Hey guys. My friends duckling leg is twisting underneath and hes holding it back a little. He said the baby was normal this morning now tonight like this. Its just turning in circles.

Hes feeding it flock raiser and no niacin supplement. Is this whats causing this? Is it fixable. I told him they need the extra supplement but he said no and im worried this is the result! Please help!

Yes even some ducklings that eat a well balanced feed can still have a deficiency so your friend needs to get a liquid B Complex TSC has a good one In the cattle dept it says injectable but we give it orally to ducklings. 1 ml a day over feed small amount to make sure it’s getting full dose or over a yummy treat this needs to start ASAP. There is also human b complex that’s 3 ml daily both need to be given at least a week maybe longer depending on how long it takes to get over this. It can also be given directly by mouth but has to be done drop by drop to keep the duckling from aspirating.
