Baby Duckling Breeds

The blacks are definitely Cayuga. The grays are definitely Blue Swedish. The white/yellow is most likely a moulting Pekin. I'm not familiar with the tan one. I breed Cayugas, Rouens, Blue Swedish, and am currently hatching my first Anconas.

I’m hatching my first Ancona’s too :D though they were shipped eggs and at day 11 out of 14 eggs only 4 seem viable....here’s to hoping for all to make it to hatch and for 3 girls and 1 boy :fl

Oh no! I went and picked mine up myself. Half were cracked and the remaining half were only 50% fertile. Luckily, he gave me 18, then another 18 due to the cracks, for the price of a dozen. He also promised to improve their feed and calcium intake. I ended up with 12 incubatable and fertile eggs, but one quit during the 1st week of development. The remaining 11 have internally pipped and should be arriving in the next couple of days.

Good luck!!! Post some pics once they hatch pretty please :pop

I lost 2 babies shortly after hatch (one had a beak injury at hatch) and 1 egg never managed to pip, but I ended up with 23 healthy babies out of the 26 eggs. 10 are Ancona.
