Baby duckling help please?

Hi I’ve had a mini appleyard duckling hatch in the early hours, I decided to assist as the two other ducklings died without being able to pip he’s doing super well, eating, drinking, vocalising but I’ve noticed this dark almost scab on his underside, I’m guessing it’s where the ‘cord’ was! Any help, advice would be appreciated

So glad this little guy hatched! I can’t totally remember but I think some of my ducklings had that when they hatched. It went away not to long after that hatched.

Yes, just where the cord was. It will dry up soon.
