good morning my daughter and I have part been successful in we have a day old duckling but it is still attached to shell. What do we do as still breathing

Can you post a picture? If it's just connected by a little string, you can snip it off close to the shell and it will be fine.
 
Can't really tell by the pics but I'd just leave it in the bator awhile longer. It will dry up and pull loose from the shell.
Couldn't tell if the yolk sack is unabsorbed or not but if it wasn't fully absorbed it would be best to try and isolate it in the bator until it is absorbed. If it isn't fully absorbed the prognosis isn't very good.
Bacteria can get into the chicks blood stream and cause infection. By isolating the chick it will also help to keep the chick from tearing the yolk sack as it moves around in the bator.
 
I'm not as familiar with ducks as I am with other birds as far as how to handle chicks with the yolk not fully absorbed, so I'll tag a few peeps that should be able to help better than I can.... @Texas Kiki , @WVduckchick
