My baby geese would do that too especially the canadians . I raised a ebden with ducklings and he would do the submarine too

i wondered if it was a wild breed thing. My other ducks have done the diving thing, but not to the extent of my mallard. She goes under for a really long time and swims all slow like kicking her feet. The pekin goes under too, but only for a second or two.

My mallards were terrifyed of water as babies LMAO.

now though they love to swim underwater circles in thier pond, Sage and Boris used to love to play in the running faucet in the tub.

I can't wait til my two new babies get here(getting a magpie and a crested mallard
