Once you have a heat source for him maybe a nice warm soak water usually always makes them poop. And fresh water for him to drink. Make something like this for the duckling to drink out of it can dunk it’s head which is important and can’t climb in it.View attachment 1918449

I have seen your pic of this several times, but what size is the container? I am going to try this with my new babies.

I actually start out using a chick watered for first week then go to this 2 pint container with lid then go to quart. I change water morning an evening. I had 4 ducklings. You might want to pick up some liquid b complex to add to their drinking water from the start also. It’s so good for leg health.
