I have a few geese eggs and one made a break in the shell and the rest have not. The one that made a hole was around 9 last night and hasn't made any further progress. People keep saying no matter what don't help it. I'm wondering if I should help it and if so, when. Thanks to all.

Check if the humidity is right.... if yes he'll hatch in the next 24 hours.... if not adjust and be prepared to help after at least 12 hours... that's all what I can say for now... take care and keep us posted ;)

Not sure what the humidity is supposed to be. As of right now it reads 47, but it's been above and below that at times.@Majd

It's good don't worry.... just try keeping it as stable as you can.... give him another shot till tomorrow or if you feel the membrane is sticking to it and he can't roll you should help immediately.... let's hope all goes well.... fingers crossed....

@MajdIt came out. She has a lump under her belly and a tube or something going into the egg. It looks as though it's stuck. There is little amount of yolk left. I hope it's not too early.

Did she hatch alone? Of yes don't worry this is the embelical cord..... it's like with mammals.... it will ddy off amd detach bu itself... .for the thing that looks like abit of yolk it's the embryo's debris.... but if it was coming out from its belly and has veins around it that will be the yolk that should have been absorbed.... a pics will do it all... if you helped you might be right about the yolk....
I it hasn't been too late.... try reputting him inside the shell... and slightly push him gently and let him push with his legs.. that will help a lot in absorbing the yolk... and check after a few minutes if it went inside that whole in the belly... if yes leave him there to rest and this whole will dry out and clpse quickly.... that's all what I cam say to help you right now... fingers crossed for you and your chicks

She is out and living, but it's been over 12 hours and she can't walk. When she try's, she flops over on her back.@Majd
