My grandmother's name is Emma, a pretty "old" name and my niece's name is Avery. I think either go with Rose.

No matter what you choose it will be perfect for her!

My 9 yr old is Harriet and I do love Althea, Clara and Lorraine. Sadie is a great name glad to hear there is one out there!

Too bad DH is set against names ending in "a" Emma Rose is a really pretty combo. And goes well with the other girls names. Now, if I had been lucky enough to have a girl, she would have been Lauren or Laurel (and that's a tree!) Another I like is Bethany Rose.

my mom's was Wendy Lynn.
Grandmas is Alice and Faye, Rosella(dh's grandma)

anyway, i say was for my mom's and my name as we changed our middle name when we got married. she took the first initial from middle and last name to make our middle name now lol. weird i know.. but we are a strange family haha.

we were *supposed* to have a boy but the ultra sound had girl on it i guess so Trystin was born haha. we wanted a Wesley but i guess not.

good luck. it's hard. i went online and looked for meanings and chose a name that way.

My daughter is Emily Christine, I am Tiffany Christine. I had a different name picked out for her before she was born, but DH didnt much care for it....I still think it's pretty though- Hailey Mariah (NOTHING to do with Mariah Carey!) My mom is Susan Laraine
