Baby goats are loud. I would not want one in my bedroom for long. It will need a friend. Why didn't the mom want it?

She can't nurse, her udder is too large for the baby to nurse.

Generally if they can latch on they can nurse. Sometimes it takes a bit of time for the udder swelling to go down a bit too.
