Baby identified

He comes from my pure white Silkie bantam mom and a bantam dad. You can't see the coloring but he has the most beautiful brown with a very dark gold. Number One and the last chick are definately hens. One of the moms is back sitting on a nest. These little silkie bantams are machines, its hard to keep them off eggs. We pull them they lay them if you miss one, just one, they are on it brooding. I think we need a bigger coop or two.

Are you saying this chick came from two pure Silkies? If so, then you may have to think on it again. It isn't Silkie feathered. Now, if it came from a Silkie hen and some other type of smooth feathered bantam roo, then yes. He looks just like alot of the Silkie mixes I've hatch out in the past. Cute chickie!
