It is bitter freezing cold outside. Its 1am now and still 64F .BTW i live in NE Ohio, not far from the great lakes.

Em, we are just east and north of downtown. Most often our area is referred to as East Central Phoenix.

It's a freaky 66* today. We should be in the 30's at least.

BTW Mahonri, I can't seem to figure out your new avatar, I did get new glasses, but.....

It was 9 degrees here last week. Today it is 63 degrees.

It should be in the 20s to 30s. We had a thirty degree temp shift in ONE day!

And I heard that it snowed in AZ today. Mahonri did it snow where you are??

I've been out to visit a patient at TBird Samaritan once.

5 of my kids were born at St. Joes.

Much of it on the coast side of the moutains are now undergoing melt down. It's been about 48hrs of our normal winter upper 30/low 40 with rain... so massive melt and landslide/flood warning!

It was an unusual cold 20 and even in the teens temps for the seattle area at least. Rarely have snow stick around so long, almost two weeks!!!

I like the PNW for it's moderate year round temps. Avg year long highs in the 70's, average lows in the 30's, with a usual day high/low swing of 10F or so. There's a few days this week where day and night were only like 4 deg different.
