Baby it's cold outside

35 here now and really windy with snow flurries but its not sticking it is supposed to get down to 16 tonight and I have to go put some vasaline on the girls combs to keep them from freezing the intoductions should go well tonight because the new girls will keep everyone warmer.

You mean it's not normal for everything to be frozen? Gee this winter has been so long that it's hard to remember a time when things weren't froze!

Give it 5 months and we'll all be complaining about how hot it is outside, at least we will have a couple of nice months before the heat and humidity are killing us in the south.

Its 10 degrees here and snowy, VERY VERY windy.

I'd hate to know the wind chill.

My heart actually goes out to you folks in the cold areas. I know I would not make it. I have a blow-up Aero bed that I can stick in the den and make anyone a nice warm bed here in Southern California where it is a balmy....79 degrees

It's a whopping 3* here with a wind chill of -23. Winds are bad today gusting up to 40 mph. I just came in from giving the flock fresh water and a good dose of corn . Figure they need some extra to keep the chill off.

It's suppose to warm up by the end of the week, rumor has it we may reach 30* ......woohoo.......lol
