Hi, our baby Banny that we incubated isn't eating no matter what we do. We've tried crushing up their food and they won't eat it. We've tried putting it on a lid, a plate, a little in their hay and on the bottom of their tub. I even tried putting their beak on the food when they were chirping and giving them some sugared water like another website said and they still won't eat. Any suggestions?

They drink water okay and we can't put them outside with the other babies yet. He hatched on Friday or Saturday last week.

Any suggestions?
Welcome to BYC! :frow

Tap your finger in the food... and or pick up pinches of it and drop in front of them while saying in a high pitched voice "look babe, look".

Switch over to paper towels rather than the hay described as bedding.. and do as suggested above.. spreading the spinkled food all around so that they are pecking at it no matter where they peck..

Some unfortunately never make that connection and therefore starve.

Consider bringing in just one other chick that already has made the connection.. to show them how it's done. :fl
