Baby pekins malnourished

Fed baby pekins nothing but chick grit by honest mistake some started to die I'm guessing from malnourishment I have fixed the food problem will the others recover? Is there any hope for them?

If there crops are blocked from it, they might starve, how do there crops feel?

Does the spot on their chest that puffs out a bit feel gritty when you gently press on it? This would be the grit that they have been eating. We really need more information before we can help. How old are your ducks? How long have they been eating only grit? Is there any other symptoms? Do you have a heat lamp on them? Any information would be helpful.
