Baby pictures! First duckling's swim.

Anybody know what breed's these could possibly be? Or are they still too young to tell?

I can guess for you...

yellow one- fawn & white runner
Black w/ white chest- black swedish
black patchy one- ancona ?? this one has a crest!
greyish w/white chest- blue swedish
and the last- mallard cross ??

Quite a mix of colors, looks like what comes out of my hatches when all my different ducks are together.

Wow, thanks for the breeds!! I didn't realize I might have some swedes on my hands....I have been looking all over for some swede ducks!
The yellow looks like a runner to you? I would have never guessed!

LOL No, they haven't dives yet! They just stick their little beaks in the water and then just kind of lay in the water.

Oh, by the way, I was wondering why the patchy one had extra hair on his head! I thought it MIGHT be a crested, but I wasn't sure.

Awwwwwwwww. I love to watch the little guys taking a swim. Especially when they do their scuba diving!

yes the reason I think runner is because of the bit of tan on the face, like a mask around the eyes and looks like a tiny bit on the back too. my fawn and whites always look like this at first and it's too small to be a pekin if they are all the same age. You will notice it when he stands up taller/straighter than the rest, or he could be runner mixed w/ the blue swede and not have the tallness about him and a more greyish/tan with the white, I get those sometimes too.
It's possible the patchy one could also be black swede/mallard cross as I have had some that looked like ancona (I don't have any anconas).
