Baby pigeons vanished!

Two of my baby pigeons are just gone. No visible signs of entry into the coop. No blood, feathers, just vanished. I'm at a loss as to what could have gotten them and now fear for my chicks as well. Anyone with similar situations with any advice?

In the past I have lost squabs to rats. I note that you live in Fla. - snakes are also a possibility. Both predators can enter through very small holes.

Yes we are thinking maybe a tree snake. So now we are adding smaller holed wire.Thank you for your response. Im a little sad but we have more babies to protect, so we will do whatever we can. Thank you.

Big Sister is very pretty. Is there any chance the others were able to get out and flew away?

No.The babies were up in their nesting box. It's about six feet high inside our coop. The door was locked also. But a snake could of dropped down from a tree, or so I was told.

I'm sorry you lost some birds. I would guess a snake also, they can get in such tiny places.
