baby birds are so cute the man reason I got into rasing them


can any tell me what happen with this stories my grandpa got a tom and 4 to young to tell (1 hen 3 jakes) they butchered the jakes and the tom and hen had babies the next spring all of them where bronze mom and dad inculded but one of the babies was that of a bourbon red color absolutely just like a pure red the guy he got them from had no Bourbon reds ever

I'm not very good with turkey genetics, but maybe there was some recessive bourbon red in their blood lines some where?

I. Have not seen norfolk bronze turkeys. What your birds look like are Narragansett turkeys to me.

Uk breed, naragsetts have much more white, well they do here

Your profile pic looks almost like a bronze to me but I see your point...although now looking at a load of pictures...
the breeder I bought them from had bronze black and narangsetts all ranging together.
