I found one also a day old and had a heat lamp and next day bought chick starter food for it and next day tried putting it outside to get air but with top on it cuz my kids saw a roadrunner & woodpecker by it which are preys and hawks & ravens so we brought it back in & have had it for about 4 days now. So if they were uncovered outside most possible a bird took it.
