Baby quail wont open eyes

So i hatched a little baby quail, and she was doing fine for 2 days, her eyes were open she was chirping and running around, eating and drinking but now she stopped. She will hardly open her eyes and dosnt move, she hardly chirps unless i put her down after holding her. I dont know what to do. I think it may be depression(from lonliness) but no other eggs have hatched. (I used an incubator) help?

Help shes stopped walking she just scoots with her backlegs towards my hand, another egg started hatching and is unzipping so i put her with it but she just snuggled next to the egg and still hasnt opened her eyes

Sounds less depressed, more ill (I wish I could say with what). I wouldn't put them with any other chicks until you know what's causing those symptoms. Sorry your chick is sick

Do you have nutridrench or other vitamins you could give her to perk her back up?

What percent protein feed is she on? What kind of light do you have? What kind of bedding?

From other similar questions, (albeit about chickens) it seems electrolytes, riboflavin(?) and separating her, coaxing to eat may help.

I have given her electrolytes in her water and had to make her drink with a soaked Qtip to her beak. The protien percent is 28%. I have her in a small plastic tote with papertowels in the bottom. And i have a heatlamp over her with a thermometer, its at 97 degrees.

She wont drink on her own which is why i had to help her because shes barely moving anymore. But after i give her a few sips she does this weird open mouth thing like shes gasping so im scared im gunna get water in her lungs.

Ok, sounds like she’s set up fine, and your temp is good as well. What’s in the electrolytes? Is there riboflavin? I’ll try to find a video on giving quail chicks liquids manually, don’t have a whole lot of experience on that
