Hello!
this is my VERY first time raising baby quails, and I hatched three recent out of a small batch of about 7 eggs. However, the three babies are about two days old now and haven’t quite gotten the hang of finding their own food, they eat readily from a small spoon I’ve been watering/feeding them with and eat or drink whenever I offer it, but I’m terrified of dehydration. I dipped their beaks in the water tray (with rocks of course) and they will run around it when I whistle to them to come but won’t really drink much unless it’s from the spoon. With feed they are a little more independent, but I don’t want them to die of thirst especially. Any advice? Here’s a picture of their setup
All seem to be active, chirping, playing, and resting. They’ll sprint around and collapse, nap for about ten minutes then continue wrestling and bouncing!
