Well the heart one had an infection and was seizing so I culled him which I prolly should of done when it happened. As it other back leg stopped working aswell. Yesterday I dispatched all the males for my chickens another had a swollen foot. Not sure how i missed that but 2/3 more gave birth another nakie and a gray and white. I dont have hopes with the nakies babies as they never live past a day. And the grey and white wasnt expecting that one so soon but 3/5 males are separated now as i only left my split dumbo males with the females now so whatever is after these litters should be theirs and not the old man.

Yesterdays and today theres more because i added the nakkies babies to the wad incase shes not milking

Well the nakkies all died again so def genetic also lost an adult nakkie they seem to not live long so not gonna bother with those anymore buty bl n whi popped finally

Both these females are in the same cage right now and they dont help eachother like mice do its literally every rat for themselves lol

My flat head aka my dumbo gave birth Oct 1st

Had to dispatch my nakkie male and my old man the nakkie must of gotten attacked by a wild rat because he was missing toes and had infections and wasnt looking good
The other was a grey and white male that was a 3-17-23 born so he was pretty old. Hoping some of these babies are dumbos i think i see a few so. Im down to two males now both split to dumbo

Are the gray ones the dumb ones? Those pink things make me gag a little but I think they are cute when they looks like little rabbits with tails.

Dumbos, they’re supposed to be sweet rats. The pinkies are the babies

I’ve found myself raising mice at work when my coworker left, I’m knee deep in pinkies myself. They are kinda cute

Dumbo is an ear set, the ears are placed lower on the sides instead of more up on top of the head. Like the elephant in the Disney cartoon, hence the name.
