(S)He is just shy of 2 months old and is a bantam easter egger. I'm 99% sure he's a roo but thought I'd see if you all agree. Pictures of parents follow.

You know, the comb & wattles are bright...but where are the pointy saddle feathers?
 
At only 8wks old, it won't have saddle and hackle feathers showing yet. Not too far off though.
 
Oh good, I'm glad roo seems to be the consensus. His full sibling is turning out to have a stray silkie gene (see picture) and I'm getting excited about seeing the results of them breeding back to each other.

I get green eggs from most of the hens with the occasional pink egg layer showing up, thus the reason I called them EEs. Aren't EE's supposed to be mutts who lay green eggs at their most basic? Are there other breeds that lay green eggs? This is definitely the first time the silkie gene has popped up.
