Baby Silkie Killed. What Do You Think Killed it?

We have a lot of cats, but they are to big to fit through the dug whole we found. We suspect that it was a fairly small cat, or possibly a opossem.The silkie that was killed was about 4 -5 feet. His sister is alive, but i think she is scared for life by that experience. The silkie could of fought back but this was a rooster.And when silkie roosters don't cockadoodle they love their farmers.Please tell me what it could be, another silkie depends on this answer.

Was the body left behind or is it gone? Sometimes it can help if you explain what the body looks like(sorry to be gruesome) some predators only eat certain things and leave the rest, but if the body is gone then it could be a different predator. Without knowing these things I would guess racoon. Sorry for your loss.

Raccoon was my thought also...they can fit through holes that you would never think that they could. A 4 inch hole can allow a huge raccoon in.

The body was still there. We suspect it was an orange,black, and gray cat.We have caught our cat 2 times and a very small cat and it had a coller. It looked like was coming back for the hen because it was scratching at her cage. We set a trap but we didn't catch the right one yet as I explained before. So not a racoon, but thanks any way.
